A few notes from the local Missouri News re: the concert. The band drew rave rewiews again as well as another large crowd. Last season PPL drew thousansds at several outdoor shows and they continue to bring out the throngs. The legend continues...

July 23, 2011 JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR DELIVERS GREAT CONCERT
(Hillsboro) A huge crowd took saw Josh Pruno and Pure Prairie League last night at the Jefferson County Fair. Over a thousand fans flocked to hear local artist Josh Pruno and Pure Prairie League.
...The League ripped through one roaring tune after another with the foot stomping, hand clapping crowd cheering them on. Blazing electric and pedal steel guitars and superb vocals are still the band's trademark and they delivered them flawlessly. Amie, with an enthusiatic sing-a-long from the crowd, Two Lane Highway, Let Me Love You Tonight and many more from the vast PPL collection of classics made this show a big winner. Hats off to a very talented band.
